Salome was the daughter of Jacob and Salome Harshbarger. She moved with her parents to Montgomery Co., IN in 1831. She married Madison B. Anderson 12 Sept 1844. Their children were Emeline V., William L., Jacob W., George W., and Salome A.

Ladoga, Ind., Jan. 10 --- Mrs. Salome Anderson, 86 years of age, died at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning from pneumonia. She was born in Virginia but had lived here since she was seven years old. She leaves four children --- William L. Anderson and Mrs. E. W. Linn of Ladoga; Jacob Anderson of Marshall, Ind., and George Anderson of Indianapolis. Jacob Harshbarger and Mrs. Mary Himes are brother and sister of decedent.

Mrs. Anderson was a member of the Dunkard church. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The services will be conducted by Rev. William Harshbarger with interment in Harshbarger cemetery.
