Born in Dooly County, she was the daughter of the late William Eugene Nelson and Cora Warren Nelson. Mrs. Collins was the oldest member of Pleasant View Baptist Church, which she attended all her life. She was also a member of the WMU. She was a loving mother and grandmother and a fantastic cook. She was also an avid seamstress and made something for each of her grandchildren.

Grandchildren: 8
Great Grandchildren: 14
Great Great Grandchildren: 5
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus H. Collins and by her children, Robert Harold Collins, Howard Emory Collins and Oneita Pass.
Funeral services will be at 10 AM Monday, June 28 in Pleasant View Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery.
