Willie Dale Allen, 78, of Hickory, died Friday, June 25, 2010 at Brian Center-East in Hickory. Born March 21, 1932 in Caldwell County, he was the son of the late Thomas Jefferson Allen and Ethel Hamby Allen.
Mr. Allen was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and attended Chalmers Memorial Presbyterian Church in Charlotte. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Eunice Nanney Allen; sisters, Evelyn Izzo and Mary Hulings; and son-in-law, Charles Lee Price.
A Graveside Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Lenoir, NC.
