EDNA -- Alice Sholar[s], 78, of Edna died Saturday in Sulphur, La., after a lengthy illness.
She was born on Sept. 18, 1904 [sic 1902], in Staves, Ark. She was preceded in death by her husband Randal Sholar[s] who died in 1978.
Mrs. Sholar[s] had lived in Edna for 30 years.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Edna. The Rev. Joe Webb will officiate.
Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Edna.
She is survived by a brother, Arthur Alexander of Kilgore.
