Orangeburg - Lurine Cook Boltin, 89, died Thursday at a local nursing home. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. today at Thompson Funeral Home. Burial, directed by Thompson Funeral Home, will be at Bull Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery near North. Mrs. Boltin was born in North, daughter of Gillie G. Cook and Mary Ella Hayden Cook Hair. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church. She was the widow of Gilmore Boltin. Surviving are three daughters, Priscilla Wannamaker of St. Matthews, Mary Crosby of Cordova and Mabel All of Fairfax; six grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 11 step great-grandchildren; and two step great-great-grandchildren. © The Post and Courier, Charleston, SC, 4 Oct 1997
