Mrs. Ada Ilgen, 71, passed away about 10:15 o'clock Tuesday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Max Paul, in Lena, following a lingering illness. Her maiden name was Ada Kohl and she was born in Harlem township in 1874.
She leaves one daughter and five sons,Mrs. Max Paul, of Lena, Leslie Ilgen of Harrison Ill., Emery, Harold and Elmer Ilgen of Freeport, Russell of Nora; three sisters and three brothers, Mrs. Laura Cole of Oklahoma City, Okla., Mrs. Lelah Schultz,Mora Kohl of Freeport, Mrs. Nellie Knight and Roy Kohl of Lena, Edward Kohl of Monroe, Wis. Her husband, Daniel, and five children preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon at St. John's Lutheran church in Lena, Rev. L. H. Beto will officiate and burial will be made in Chelsea cemetery.
