Arlie Creech

Arlie Creech, 69, died Saturday at a Dallas hospital after a long illness.
Born in Wade, Okla., Mr. Creech was a Grand Prairie resident since 1943. He owned and operated Creech Service Station at 1608 E. Main St. for 26 years until he semi-retired in 1965.
Mr. Creech was a member of the Sam R. Hamilton Grand Masonic Lodge, No. 1031, Grand Prairie, and was a deacon of Fairview Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Marcella; a son, Max Creech of Houston; a daughter of Plano; a brother, Archie Creech of Leonard; a sister, Myrtie Carpenter of Dallas, and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Southland Funeral Home 3rd St. Chapel, with the Rev. Ernest Duncan officiating. Burial will follow at Southland Memorial Park, with graveside services conducted by Sam R. Hamilton of Masonic Lodge No. 1031.
