Leland, 80, died Sunday. He was born January 15, 1929 in Shingleton, Mich. to Wilfred and Jessie (Wright) McPherson. He married Norma M. Phillips on October 14, 1952 , She preceded him in death on July 13, 2005. Mr. McPherson was a heavy equipment operator and an Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of V.F.W. Post #6464, Fowlerville. Surviving are 4 Daughters: Connie (Fred) Smith, Cindy McPherson, Nancy McPherson and Lisa Beckley. Son: Leland A. II, 11 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren and 7 brothers & sisters. He was preceded in death by 6 Brothers and Sisters, 2 children: Danny and Corrine and Granddaughter: Corrine Smith. Graveside services Saturday March 21, 2009 with military honors provided by V.F.W. Post #6464, Fowlerville, with a luncheon at the V.F.W. Post to follow the graveside services. Arrangements by Niblack Funeral Home, Dillingham Liverance Chapel.
