Roland Clayton Parmley, 78, died June 16, 2004, at Stormont-Vail Hospital, Topeka.
He was born March 24, 1926, at Hutchinson, the son of Leslie and Esther Parmley. He graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1944. He worked for 45 years in the business industry. He retired in 1991 as assistant vice president in the reinsurance department at Security Benefit Life Insurance Co., after 32 years of service.
On June 19, 1949, he married Mary Alice Rees at Marion. She survives.
He is also survived by a daughter.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Crestview United Methodist Church, Topeka. Graveside service will be at 3:30 Saturday in Marion Cemetery, Marion.
