KENNETH L. MILBURN, 92 VERA A. MILBURN, 91 ROCKFORD - Kenneth L. Milburn, 92, and Vera A. Milburn, 91, both of Rockford passed away. Kenneth passed at 5 a.m. Saturday, June 19, 2010, in SwedishAmerican Hospital. Born July 23, 1917, in Mystic, Iowa, the son of LC "Bud" and Doshia Millburn. Kenneth came to Rockford in 1939 from Mystic. He worked as a human resource supervisor for Cam Car Textron retiring in 1981, he also worked for Rockford Clutch. Vera passed June 23, 2010, in Atrium Nursing Home. Born April 15, 1919, in Mystic, the daughter of Harry and Nellie Wignall. Vera and Kenneth were married on Christmas Eve of 1939 in Centerville, Iowa, and they came to Rockford in 1939. Vera worked at Free Sewing, Wood and Brooks for 17 years. They were both members of Court Street United Methodist Church and were both born and raised in Mystic. Kenneth and Vera spent more than 70 happy years together. Survivors include son, Mark Milburn of Rockford; Vera's brother, Leighton Wignall of Rockford; and sister, Donelda Olsasky. Kenneth is predeceased by his parents; brothers, Clifford, Hank and Troy; and sister, Icele. Vera is predeceased by her parents; and brother, John. Services at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 26, in Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Mulford Chapel, with visitation from 10 a.m. to time of service; the Rev Keith Kelsey-Powell will officiate. Burial in Arlington Cemetery.
