J. William Spangler died at his home in Carlisle on Monday morning from blood poisoning, aged 50 years. He was a former resident of Biglerville, and is well known in this community. He leaves his wife and one daughter, Mrs. Eugene Eppley, of Carlisle; also the following sisters and brothers; Mrs. Alvin Bushman, Mrs. Ollie Briggs, and Mrs. A. E. Hanks, all of Carlisle; Howard Spangler, of Waynesboro; Clayton Spangler of Akron, Ohio; Mrs. William Ehrhart and Charles Spangler, of Harrisburg; Mrs. Luther Slaybaugh of Biglerville. Funeral services were held on Thursday afternoon with interment in Mr. Holly Springs Cemetery.
