"April 26 – Mrs. Edward Probst aged 67, died of bronchial asthma early Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ralph Allen of Boardman, after a short illness. Born June 1, 1876, in Monroe county, O., Mrs. Probst was a daughter of Samuel and Rosa Baumberger. She had lived here for 29 years. She was married March 28, 1895. Besides her husband and Mrs. Allen, Mrs. Probst leaves four daughters, Mrs. Selby Oblinger, Mrs. Norman Hitchcock, Mrs. Lloyd Leonard, all of this place, and Mrs. Delbert Tinney of Poland; two sons, Clarence of Canfield, and Paul of Youngstown; a brother, five sisters, and 14 grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Federated church."
"May 5 - Three of the Oblinger boys who are in service attended the funeral of their grandmother, Mrs. Ed. Probst."
