Martin V. son of Franklin Jessie Sipes and Elizabeth Carter. He is in 1870 census age 8, not named as surviving son in 1916 obit of father. He had a brother, Frank, born 1858, not in 1870 census, who may be the "Frankie" that "Mart" is buried with.
Martin not found after 1910 census.

Martin V. Sipes married Mary Frances Carter Apr 24 1884, Buchanan Co.. They had one child, Elmer (1885-1941), and are in Forbes 1900 census. Mary died 1908, Martin is in Forbes 1910 as widower. He died before 1916 per obit of his father.
No Mo. death cert. found for Martin, who is in Lot 64A.
