Jesse Franklin Eubanks, 89, passed from this life Tuesday, June 22, 2010, surrounded by his family. Service: 10 a.m. Friday at Handley United Methodist Church. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Jesse was born in Cleburne on April 4, 1921. One of seven sons and two sisters, Jesse grew to always enjoy and value family. He married his longtime sweetheart in February 1941, and they celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary this year. Jesse worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone for 38 years until he retired in 1984. He was a member of Handley United Methodist Church for 58 years and sang in the choir for many years. He will be missed by many friends, relatives and his family. Survivors: Loving wife of 69 years, Mary Marie Eubanks; daughter, Belinda Cowles and husband, Darrell Cowles, of Watauga; grandchildren, Shelley Hui and husband, Ben Hui, of Keller, Michelle Cowles of Fort Worth, Brian Cowles and wife, Barbie, of Clifton and Carie Williams and husband, Stephen Williams, of Grand Prairie; and nine great-grandchildren.
