Nelle was first married to Franklin Oscar Kuhn in 1916 in Greensburg Decatur Co IN and they had six children. Frank died in 1931 in New Castle Henry Co IN. She then married Louis Boyd in 1935 in Decatur Co IN and they had one daughter Nora Louise Boyd Dickson born 1936 in Decatur Co IN.
Mrs Nelle L Boyd 78 RR7 Greensburg who was practically a lifelong resident of Decatur County died at Memorial Hospital here at 9 pm Saturday. In declining health the past year she had been seriously ill for six weeks.
She was born Aug 10 1893 at Clarksburg the daughter of Albert and Hazel Linville. Reared at Clarksburg she had lived in the Sandcreek Baptist Church neighborhood 5&1/2 miles south of Greensburg on US421 the past 16 years.
She was married here Aug 10 1935 to Louis Boyd who survives with one daughter Mrs Nora Dickson RR5 Greensburg.
Also surviving are three stepdaughters. Mrs Henry(Leona)Fowler RR1 Westport Mrs Bessie M Neeb of Anderson and Mrs Warren(Ethelene) Milburn RR2 Greensburg a sister Mrs Nettie Evans of Rushville five grandchildren and 11 step-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Tuesday in Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home with the Rev J.E. Wilson pastor of the First Church of the Nazarene at Greenfield officiating. Burial will be in Clarksburg Cemetery. Visitation began at 3pm Monday.
