George Delmer Neithercutt, 78, of Midland, passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2010, in Midland, after a courageous five year battle with lung cancer. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.

George was born on October 11, 1931, in Inadale, Texas, and honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife, Charlene Neithercutt; two daughters, Kimberly Pearson and husband Gary and Kaprice Pearson and husband Roger; three grandchildren, Brandon Pearson and wife Kristie, Megan and Austin Pearson; and one great grandson, Blake Pearson. He is also survived by his brother, Charles Ray and wife Joy; a sister, Judy Beth Shows and husband Bobby; two sister-in-laws, Jane Neithercutt and Gwen Watson; and by his canine companion, Booger.

George was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Norma Ruth Anderson; a brother, Lee Mac Neithercutt; and stepson William Jeffrey Ford.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions can be made to the Thoracic Center of M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, PO Box 4486, Houston, Texas 77210-4486.
