Mrs. Carrie H. Johnson, 92, Maize, was born July 17, 1866, in Carthage, Mo. She was a member of the Presbyterian church. Mrs. Johnson had resided in Maize for 11 years. She was married to Mark Carol Johnson in 1890.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Florence Taylor, Maize, and Mrs. Mary Baugh, Amarillo, Tex.; four sons, Frank and Fred, Port of Chicago, Calif., Jim, Hattieville, Ark., and Joe, Wetumka, Okla.; a sister, Mrs. Hattie Hereford, Hazelton, Kan.; a brother, Gilbert Turner, Glendale, Calif.; 38 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Mark Carol Johnson, a son Charles and a daughter Bertha Lee Newton.
