Born Feb. 18, 1922, in Youngwood, Pa., he was the son of William E. and Muriel G. Blystone Mauk. He married Ruth Ransdell and she survives.
Also surviving is a daughter, Betsy at home; and two brothers, Harry of Marion and Thomas of this city.
He was a member of the Central Church of Christ here. He was employed as a civil engineer with the state highway department here before moving to a similar position in Columbus three years ago.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at First Christian Church of Disciples in Kenton, Rev. Norman E. Hagley officiating. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery, Kenton.
Friends may call at Schindewolf Memorial Funeral Home, Kenton, after 7 p.m. Thursday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday.
