PERRY CONDER
Perry Conder was born to Thomas Walker Conder and Pearl Naomi Hopkins Conder on December 12, 1912 in Lane County, Kansas.

He passed away at Southwest Memorial Hospital November 10, 1986.

He received most of his schooling in Aztec, New Mexico and moved to Western Kansas with his family in 1930. He was married to Rhody May Dunlap, May 23, 1935 in Loeti, Kansas.

Perry was a machinist at the Pearl Harbor Navy yard from 1940 to 1946 and was present at the Navy yard during the attack by Japan on Pearl Harbor. Perry and his wife moved from Hawaii to Bremerton, Washington in 1946 and then they moved to Colorado and bought a ranch on the Dolores River in 1947. They later moved to the north Lake View area and bought a farm there, where he farmed and raised sheep until he retired in 1976. He retained five acres where they were living at the time of his death.

His love for people and his ability to communicate with all ages will long be remembered by all who knew him. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed help.

Perry liked all sports and played football in his high school years. He loved to hunt and fish.

He leaves to mourn his death, his wife, Rhody, of the family home. His brother, Lyle, of Dolores, a sister, Thelma Buell, of Marienthal, Kansas, nieces and nephews and a host of friends. ( Perry and Rhody had no children). Obit given to Patricia Ruth Major Miller from Zang Wood.
