Dorothy June Aldridge, 87, of 310 S. Locust St., Hagerstown, died Friday, Aug. 22, 2008, at her home.
Born March 12, 1921, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Raymond E. and Nellie Jane Cockenour Kline.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis Aldridge, in 2002.
She retired from the Hagerstown Shoe Co.
She is survived by two grandsons, Raymond J. Hare Jr. of Hagerstown and Dennis B. Hare of Falling Waters, W.Va.; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Raymond J. Hare Sr.; three brothers; and stepmother, Anna Mary Kline.
Graveside services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The Rev. Steve Taylor will officiate.
There will be no viewing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742.
Arrangements are by Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd. in Hagerstown.
