Will Holder, 90, of Cooper died Wednesday, August 9, at St. Joseph's Hospital. Services will be held at 2PM Saturday, August 12, at Delta Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Richard Tatum officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery. Mr. Holder was born in Lancaster on February 19, 1899, a son of Noah Davis and Mary (Wetzel) Holder. He was a retired employee of the city of Dallas. Surviving are his wife, Gertie; a son, Marvin Holder; a stepson, Charles Toles of Cooper; a stepdaughter, Bobbie Allen of Dallas; a brother, Pete Holder of Garland; a sister, Emma Jordan of Fort Worth; 11 step-grandchildren and 18 step-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday night at the funeral home.
