Richard Calvin Harber, son of the late James and Nancy Harber, was born in Izard County January 14, 1889 and passed away September 5, 1955, at the age of 66 years, 7 months and 23 days at the north Arkansas Clinic in Batesville.

He was united in marriage to Miss Minnie Alma Langston August 4, 1907. To this union four children were born, one dying in infancy.

He is survived by his wife, two sons, Kenneth of Calico Rock and Victor of Pineville, and one daughter, Lois of Little Rock. Also surviving are four sisters, one brother, two grandchildren.

He supported the church and gave testimony that he knew his Heavenly Father was ready to meet him.

The funeral services were held at the Spring Creek Church at 2:30, Tuesday, September 6. The officiating ministers were Rev. Charles Casteel of the Methodist Church of Calico Rock and Miss Mary Chaffin of Melbourne. Burial was in the Spring Creek Cemetery with the Hall Funeral Home of Melbourne in charge.

Pallbearers were Osten Harris, L. E. Taylor, Harold Cantrell, E. A. Estes, Orson Webb and Fred Mason.
