Blanca Rye was a very, very, special lady to all who were blessed to know her, she had 2 memorials one in Buena Park (store clerks, bank tellers, everyone she ran across came to that local memorial) and then she was sent to Ventura where all her family lived another huge memorial there too.

Blanca was married to my Grandfather Sgt. Clyde Diego Orosco for 34 years.

Blanca was blessed with one beautiful daughter, her name is Blanche Isabel Orosco Mera, and her only daughter had 4 girls and 2 boys, my sisters and brothers, unfortantely not all of my siblings got to meet and know our Grandmother, and I still feel sad that my Grandma didn't get the chance to know her big family that she started with my mother.

"My Grandmother was my life" she raised me til I was 13. My grandmother was killed in a horrible car accident at the young age of 48, barely a segment of her life's potential. Im 47 now and there hasn't been one day that I haven't thought about her in 34 years. When I was about 8 yrs. old
my Grandma was young (back then I didn't know that) I would love to hear her tell me story's about when she was little, I would say "Grama tell me bout the olden days" She would Smile Big (the most beautiful teeth I've ever seen) and she would say the olden day's and laugh, she told me about the great depression and I knew it was sad but she had a way without making it too sad for me (I didn't know that til I grew up and learned how really bad it was)

She played tea party's with me and my dolls, and let me play with her really old porcelean doll's and I would dress up like a lady and we called eachother Mrs. Brown and Mrs. Green, So fun!, She loved to cook she made the best Chicken n Dumplings, Chili Relleno's, Chinese food, everything. My grandma could eat anything and never gain an ounce, I still wish I would've got those genes from her. I remember her putting on her pretty Apron (always). When my Grandma died, I felt abandoned, I rebelled I was hurt and angry and I was also only 13. I slowly started to remember how much we talked about Heaven, and our Angel's We had the Child's Big Bible, and children bible books, so I started to realize that perhaps she was preparing me for her departure. She was a very devout and Loving Catholic. However, our Grandmother was the most fun-loving Grandma any Child Treasure.

As I grew older my anger turned to understanding and recalling her dreams for me.

--Grama as you know you have 16 great grandchildren 2 from me, 3 from Rebecca, 5 from Claudia, and 2 from Blanca Rosa, 1 from Jacob and Peter has 3. You also have 11 Great,Great Grandchildren, I know you look over all of them.

I wish you were here with us but, I know you are all of our "Special Guardian Angel" who is always Smiling and guiding us, shining your love on us all (I feel ya) with all your love and kindness the best guardian angel we could hope for.

There are just no words to explain how much I miss you and think of you every day. Every day I got roll on and stay strong because after rain there's a brighter day~and You are appreciated then, now and forever. I know you're happy in heaven with all our loved ones that are with you. However, even though I can't see you by my side I feel ya! Im so very blessed ~~ I want to thank you for teaching me Love and Compassion, my spirituality, you gave me so much knowledge and encouragement. There are just no words that could ever express my appreciation to you. "I accomplished alot because of you." You still live on thru me, those 13 years are forever in my heart.

I thank God that he put you in my life even if it wasn't long enough however, I'm grateful for the time we did have together on this Earth~~You must remember me singing that Elton John Song to you when I was 11 it was called ****"THIS IS YOUR SONG"****~~My gift is my song and this one's for you~~How wonderful life is while you're in the World~You know you hear me still sing that song to you until my tears make me stop~the first time I sang that song to you, You cried, and now I couldn't listen to that song in 4 ever because I cried.(I now realize how ironic that song is because it was so real, true, but, then again we always had that natural connection)

All of your Grand Children & Great grandkids know every detail about how wonderful and loving you were. Without you touching my life there is just no way I could've made it in this crazy world. I didn't know how to deal with miserable hater's. I didn't understand envy, greed and people who judge, I remember you telling me "Only God Can Judge" when you tried to teach me. I did learn the hard way and then recalled "oh, that's what grama meant." I believe you were watching out for me because I used to think everyone was nice, Wo, was I wrong however, I got wiser and stronger thru my spirituality, and Thinking with Love, I remember you said to "Pray for heartless and uncompassionate People.

I love you and I look forward to Heaven~ (you were so prophetic) I still miss your loving hugs, and pretty big smile, and your sweet eyes, you were just so loving and kind to everyone, you could turn a stranger's frown upside down with just your smile.

Loving you eternal ~~til then "My Beautiful Angel" Rest in Love Sweet Lady in heaven. I will see you later--your eldest Grandaughter Cynthia~~xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxooxoxo

(Until Were together again your Love Shine's Bright) *****~~YOUR SONG~~****ALWAYS DEDICATED TO YOU PRECIOUS LADY IN HEAVEN~~~ I know you are happy I feel your smile.
