Isaac S. and Tensley V. are brothers along with possible other children,Richard V.,Roady,Lucy,William L.,Reuben C.,James Morgan,Jr.,and Ussery Matthew .Their mother was Mary V.?Anderson Almand and father James Morgan Almand( Sr). Louis Anderson named his first son,Isaac Suttles, after his father.I am still unsure that Suttles is older Isaac's middle name, but possible. Louis Anderson Almand named his youngest son,William Tensley, William T.then named one of his sons W.T.Jr.,who named one of his son's C.Tensley, and C.T.A. named his son Tensley.Issac and his first two wives are buried Indian style with rocks piled on graves on knoll at foot of his father,James.
Isaac had three wives,Lucinda Hollis,Frances Matilda Clower, and Sarah Elizabeth Malcolm.( note- in Louis Anderson Almand obit it lists two living brothers W.A. and H.H. both of Miami, Florida_ Wilson A. and Hilsman Hawk are the names I have ) The first two wives are buried on same knoll as Isaac.Family story says his wives died in child birth,he kept marrying younger ladies, and he died of old age(72/3).My GM said that there were no redheads in her nor Almand family. She had two reddish haired children which she called auburn, one ggson was very redheaded as child ( blamed on child's mother side). An aunt spoke up and said, yes there was a redhead in family that had married three times. He was a"redheaded, hell fire, and damnation" Primitive Baptist preacher. My GM vehemently denied. That comment is what started my genealogy obsession.Gail
