Mr. White, 86, of RD 1 Died at 7 P.M. Tuesday, July 1, 1986 in his home, after a brief illness.
Mr. White Retired as an electrician from the Pennsylvania Railroad, after 47 years' of service. He was then employed as an inspector by the Pittsburgh Test Lab, St. Louis, MO.

He was born July 13, 1899, in Altoona, the son of James Clarence and Lillian (Bingman) White, and on Dec. 25, 1918, in Cumberland, Md., married Edith Ellen Van Orman.

Surviving are his wife, five children: George Melvin of Tyrone, Lorena Reifsteck and Joan Cochran of Altoona, Betty Partner of Antis and Robert of Williamsburg; 16 Grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Mr. White was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church, Antis.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Thursday and 10 to 11 A.M. Saturday in the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Juniata.

WHITE: Services for George B. White of RD 1 will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday in the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata. Interment in Grandview Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Thursday and 10 A.M. until time of services Saturday in the funeral home. There will be no viewing Friday.
