Miller - Oscar E. Barler. 79, of Miller, died Wednesday evening at the Lawrence County Nursing Home here.
Barker was a longtime resident of the Miller community and a member of the Miller Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Ella; two daughters, Mrs. Dora Nicholson, of Miller; and Mrs. Georgia Morris, of Springfield; four sons, Rolla and Lynn, of Miller; Billy, of Anaheim, Calif.; and Bobby, of Denver, Colo.; one sister, Mrs. Velma Culver, of Bakersfield, Calif.; 22 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Morris-Leiman Chapel. Burial will be in the Greys Point Cemetery.
