PARIS — Henry John Kremers, 90, of Paris died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2001, in a Paris nursing home. He was the widower of Retha Jones Kremers and a retired farmer. He served in the Army Signal Corp. during World War II. Rosary will be 8:15 p.m. today at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Paris. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with burial at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Paris under the direction of Smith Mortuary, Inc. of Charleston. He is survived by one son, Joe L. Kremers of Granite City, Ill.; two sisters, Gertrude Wewers of Kansas City, Mo., and Frieda Friga of Paris; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be David, Michael and Matthew Pennington, Wayne Irelan, Wayne Irelan Jr. and Dee Oviatt. Times Record Online
