Johnnie May Cicardo, 84, of Alexandria, went to her heavenly home, Thursday, April 8, 2010 at Lexington House.
She and her husband Tommy owned and operated Tommy's Grocery on Jackson Street, Ext. until its closure, she then joined Gus Kaplan's as an accountant for over twenty years.
She was reunited with her husband Tommy, daughter Pauline Cicardo Taff and grandson Eric Taylor Cicardo who preceded her in death.
Johnnie May is survived by daughter, Kathy Cicardo Belk and son, Thomas Cicardo & wife Carolyn; son-in-law, Raymond Taff; granddaughters, Kelly Cicardo, Jennifer Belk Hall, & husband John, Stacey Taff Omo & husband Alan; grandson, John David Cicardo; great grandchildren, Grayson Hall, Clara Hall, Hudson Hall, Ragan Omo and Christopher Omo
Visitation will be Saturday, April 10, 2010, at Hixson Brothers, Alexandria, from 12:00 p.m. until service time.
The family would like to thank Dr. Terry Buckalew, the staff of Lexington House and Guardian Hospice for their care and compassion.
