Shirley Sue Vineyard, age 77, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, in Temple, Texas. She was born on February 5, 1940, in Sidney, Texas to Alfred Milton and Pauline Gladys (Markham) Taylor. On June 6, 1959, she was united in marriage to Merle Dean Vineyard in De Leon. He preceded her in death on June 2, 1999. Shirley was a homemaker. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a Baptist.
She is survived by her daughters, Deana Sue Millican of Sidney and Nancy Tierney and husband David of Temple; sons, William Alan Vineyard, and Darron Scott Vineyard and wife Lucretia of Sidney; grandchildren: Vernon, Caleb, Taylor, Alex, Crystal, Donna, and Casie; and great-grandchildren: Mayleen, Alora, Sidney, and Summer.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Nelda Cramer, Martha Gaines and Christine Baxter; and brother, Joe Lee Taylor.
