Ellen Emma Crawford, 90, Walker, died Monday, Aug. 28, 2006, at St. John's Nursing Home, Victoria. She was born May 16, 1916, in Richmond, Okla., to George A. and Ruth (Lee) Calkins.

She married Ralph C. Crawford on Nov. 13, 1934, in Eureka. He preceded her in death on March 29, 1993.

She worked at Fort Hays State University Memorial Union for 16 years. She had lived in Walker since 1958.

Survivors include two sons, Ted Crawford and wife, Cecelia, Hays, Lee Crawford and wife, Shirley, Bunker Hill; a daughter, Patsy Dreiling and husband, Lavern R., Catherine; a sister, Anita Lee and husband, Wendell, Sacramento, Calif.; 14 grandchildren, Jeff Crawford, Jerry Crawford, Debbie Smith, Laura Malleck, Ron Crawford, Lisa Sowell, Tina Lewis, Bob Dreiling, Jim Dreiling, Mike Dreiling, Mark Dreiling, Ellie Herl, Diana Clay and Anita Walters; 38 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, Kelvin Calkins; and a grandson.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Cline's Mortuary, 412 Main, Victoria, KS 67671; burial in St. Ann's Cemetery, Walker. Visitation will be until 8 p.m. today and from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Wednesday, all at the funeral home. Vigil service will be at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to St. Ann's Cemetery Fund or St. John's Nursing Home.
