Mrs. Mary Kelly
STANTON (Staff) - Final rites are scheduled at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the Church of Christ here for Mrs. Mary Cannon Kelly, 100, who died in Physicians Hospital here Monday following a lengthy illness.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Gilbreath Funeral Home.
Mrs. Kelly was born Sept. 24, 1865, in Grayson County.
She married the late John Henry Kelly of Van Alstyne in 1889, and they moved to Stanton in 1907 from Hereford. He died in 1936.
Survivors include three sons, Claude and Walter Kelly, both of Stanton, and J.D. Kelly, Hereford; two daughters, Mrs. Claude McClung, Kilgore, and Mrs. Neva Marchant, Electra; one brother, Willie Cannon, Truth or Consequences, N.M.; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.
