Funeral services were held for David Leon Horn, 41, who died Wednesday, October 3, 1984 in Mineral Wells hospital. Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 5 in the Bethel Assembly of God Church and interment in the Lynn Creek Cemetery. Arrangements were by Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home of Mineral Wells.

Mr. Horn was born November 2, 1942 in Floydada, Texas. He was a truck driver and a resident of Mineral Wells at the time of his death.

Survivors include, one son, Davey Lynn Horn of Guthrie, Oklahoma; two daughters, Wanda Lou and Candy Sue Horn also of Guthrie, Oklahoma; two brothers, Carl Horn and Danny Horn both of Jacksboro; three sisters, Doris Ann Thompson, Mary Sue Bridges, both of Jacksboro, and Dorthey Lucas of Mineral Wells; fourteen nieces and nephew; several aunts and uncles, including Frances Fields of Jacksboro.
