Alfred LeRoy Ousey is the son of Lallie C. Fernandez and Bertha Ellan Smith. He was adopted by his step-father, William Leroy Ousey.

He married Esther A. Goodwin (1911-1989).

Memorial services for Alfred L. Ousey, 71, of Silverdale, a retired mechanic, will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Martha and Mary Nursing Home in Poulsbo.
Mr. Ousey died Wednesday at the nursing home.
He was born Sept. 6, 1912, in San Luis Obispo County, Calif.
He was raised in California and married Esther Goodwin on Sept. 12, 1939, in Los Angeles. They lived in California most of their married life, where he worked as a mechanic. He`s enjoyed yardwork, fishing and hunting and had been a residence of this area for the past few months.
Survivors include his wife at their Silverdale home; a son, Bill in McQueeney, Texas, a daughter, Ardelle (Mrs. Bob) Stedman of Poulsbo; a brother in California, a sister in Oregon and five grandchildren.
Cremation arrangements are under direction of Stone Chapel, Poulsbo.
