"Waitstill Strong was a farmer at Northampton and a large landholder. He is recorded as having sold his 300 acres at Cold Spring [ Belchertown] in 1727-8 for 48£. 31/2 shillin per acre.
Waitstill Strong was a Serg't in Father Rales War serving 3 weeks in 1722, 7 weeks in 1724 and 7 weeks in 1725. He was also listed in Kings George's War serving after the fall of Louisburg 1746/48."
He married Mindwell Bartlett 7 March 1708, they were the parents of Submit Strong who married Jonathan Clap.
