He is preceded in death by his sister, Emelin Isabel Alfaro; two brothers, Eduardo Alejandro Paz Alfaro and Isreal Paz Alfaro; grandfather, Francisco Alfaro.

Interment followed in the Colonial Cemetery, Independence, Louisiana.
