Bevier News--Died, at his residence three miles southwest of Bevier, Friday night, William Brammer in the 58th year of his age. About three weeks ago he was taken suddenly ill by an attack of la grippe and at the last, pneumonia set in and terminated his life. The deceased was born in this county and was one of the oldest settlers of Macon county, being a man of active temperament, always moving and doing, and it can truthfully be said that his whole life was one of honesty, integrity, usefulness and generosity, thus revered, loved and respected by all who knew him. He early in life affiliated with the Baptist faith and was a member of the Second Baptist church of this city. The funeral service was held Sunday in charge of Rev. W. R. Skinner assisted by Rev. Brammer, relative of the deceased, interment in the Brammer cemetery near Kaseyville.
