Mrs. Kittie Smith, 94, of 325 North Oak Street, widow of James E. Smith died Monday at South View Rest Home. Born May 9, 1880 in Union Township, she was a daughter of Donaldson and Drusella Fleming Wilson. Mr. Smith preceded her in death in August 1964.
Surviving are four sons, Clarence of Oceanside, California, Willard and Earl, both of Huntington, and Clyde of Gilroy, California; three daughters, Mrs. Gale (Waunita) Patten of Bluffton, Mrs. Claude (Elizabeth) Wire of Huntington, and Mrs. Harry (Mildred) Thornburg of Bloomington, and a sister, Mrs. Clara Newhard of Fort Wayne.
Thoma/Rich Funeral Home is in charge with services there Thursday. Rev. Philip Hazelton will officiate and burial will be in the Oak Lawn Cemetery at Ossian.
