Frank R. Brown
(November 14, 1926 - June 17, 2010)

Frank R. Brown, age 83 of Ypsilanti Twp., Michigan passed away at his home on Thursday, June 17, 2010. Born in Alum Bridge, West Virginia on November 14, 1926 to the late John and Mary (Burkhammer) Brown.

Survived by his loving wife of 63 years, "Jeannine" (Perry) Brown and their three children; Dennis (Jody) Brown of Gaylord, MI, Cathy Spiess of Bay City, MI and Bruce (Denise) Brown of Fowlerville, MI, two grandchildren Lori & Aaron and two great-grandchildren, Shane & Shannon. Also, one sister, Mary Adams of Lorrain, OH, and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Brown proudly served his country in the United States Army during WWII. He was a loyal employee of the General Motors, Power Train Willow Run plant, retiring in 1992 after 37 years. Afterward, Frank enjoyed working as the courtesy driver for Jack Webb Chevrolet. He was a member of Belleville Free Will Baptist Church, American Legion and Washtenaw County Sportsmans club. He coordinated the Neighborhood Watch along with his dear friend Deputy Chuck Mullins. He loved to hunt and fish and cherished having Pug dog's for over 30 years. He will always be remembered as being devoted to his wife, family and church family.

Visitation will be at David C. Brown Funeral Home on Monday, 2-4 & 5:30-9 PM with an 11 AM Funeral service on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at Free Will Baptist Church, 750 E. Huron River Dr., Belleville. Reverend Walker Harris will officiate. Interment will be in Washtenong Memorial Park, Ann Arbor, MI.
