HURLEY --- Loda Mae Dickens Carter, 91, died Sunday, Oct. 31, 1999, in Pascagoula.
Mrs. Carter was born Dec. 16, 1907, in Helena and was retired as a seamstress with the B.V.D. Woolen Mill in Moss Point after 34 years of service. She was a member of Full Live Assembly of God Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earlie M. Carter; a son, Lenny Carter; her parents, George and Edwina Dickens; and a sister, Marie Craig.
Survivors include four sons, Earl Carter, Jarrold Carter, Charles Byron Carter and Larry Carter, all of Hurley; a daughter, Gay Goff of Agricola; 24 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and four great- great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point. A service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at New Life Assembly of God Church in Hurley where friends may call one hour before service time. Burial will be in Magnolia Springs Cemetery in Hurley.
