A cement mason in Colorado Springs, Colorado, for 25 years and a members (sic) fo (sic) the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Lodge 143, Oscar Riber, 1025 Garner Street, died Saturday at a local hospital. He was 70.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Memorial Gardens Chapel with the Rev. Paul Pierce officiating. Burial was in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Born June 12, 1908, in Hardy, Mr. Riber had been a resident of Colorado Springs since 1951, having lived previously in Denver since 1937. He was married June 16, 1939, in Denver to the former Marjorie B. Roe.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Marjorie B. Riber; four sisters, Agnes Martens of Denver, Vera Kaldahl of Ruskin, Lillie Mikkelsen of Hardy, and Esther Jensen of Ruskin; a brother, Wesley Riber of Littleton, Colorado, and several nieces and nephews.

The family suggests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
