Born June 13, 1925, in Peoria to George A. and Anna Gibson Kelch, he married Louise Zimmerman on June 26, 1948, in Peoria. She survives.
Also surviving are one son, William Anthony of Peoria; two daughters, Rebecca Royalty of Washington and Mrs. Larry (Nancy) Bremer of Peoria; one brother, Ardy of Bartonville; three sisters, Mrs. Fred (Bernadine) Fisher, Theresa Joseph and Mrs. Don (Joan) Matarelli, all of Peoria; and four grandchildren.
Two brothers, one sister and two grandchildren preceded him in death.
He was a union pressman for 40 years, retiring in 1981. A World War II Navy veteran, he was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2078 and a life member of Disabled American Veterans.
He was a member of St. Monica's Catholic Church in East Peoria.
Burial will be in Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria, where military rites will be accorded by the VFW.
