Son of Andrew J. and Melissa (Boothe) MOORE.

Married to Ella THURMOND on April 30, 1888 in Trenton, Tennessee.
______________________________________

Mr. Robert I. MOORE was born in Texas, November 26, 1866; married Miss Ella THURMOND of Dryersburg, Tennessee, April 1, 1888, and died April 21, 1909.

He was 43 years, 4 months and 25 days old, and left an aged mother, a wife and nine children and a host of friends to mourn his loss.

Brother MOORE had lived a Christian life since he was converted and joined the Baptist church 12 years ago, and he told me as short time before his death that he was not afraid to die, but regretted that he hadn't been as faithful in the service of our Lord as he might have been.

The Lord comfort the bereaved and may they realize that, "Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord.

A precious one from us has gone.
A voice we loved is stilled.
A place is vacant in our hearts.
That never can be filled.
