-- Rock Hill - Mrs. Hallie Sowell Threatt, 84, widow of John B. Threatt, died Friday at a local nursing home.
Born in Lancaster County, she was a daughter of the late John B. and Lula Hilton Sowell. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy T. Price of Columbia; a son, Ronald A. Threatt of Jackson, Ga.; three brothers, Jack Sowell of Rock Hill, C.B. Sowell of Fort Mill and Bill Sowell of Saudi Arabia; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Bass Funeral Home with burial in Grand View Memorial Park.
