John Hawkins, 84, of Mountain Home died Saturday, June 12, 2010, at Shady Grove Health Care in Thayer, Mo.
He was the son of Benjamin and Myrtle Clark Hawkins.
John was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Hawkins, and his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Lorene Hawkins of the home; daughter-in-law, Dianna Hawkins of Caulfield, Mo.; son, Gary Hawkins of Edwardsville, Ill.; brothers, Eugene Hawkins of Thayer, Mo., and Mack Hawkins of Hartford City, Ind.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held at Heath Oak Hill Chapel with John Shadowens and Keith Sharp officiating. Interment was in Baker Cemetery at Ozark Acres.
