He was born November 24, 1932 at Fostoria, the son of Louis L. and Cecyle Mae Frazer Barkyoumb.
Billie was a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Korean War. He attended the First Baptist Church in Onaga.
He owned and operated Barkyoumb Construction Company in Yakima, Washington. He moved to Topeka in 1983 and worked for Winston-Brown Construction as a painter. He
retired in 1990 and had moved to Onaga in 1989.
He married Beulah Lester Parr April 14, 1989 in Topeka. She survives.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Barkyoumb.
Other survivors include one step-son, Leroy Parr, Florissant, Missouri; three step-daughters, Darlene Ronnebaum, Centralia, T. Marie Ross, Havensville, and Tina
Nath, Papua, New Guinea; one sister, Donna Strange, Yakima, Washington; ten step-grandchildren and five step-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 19th at the Tessendorf-Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Onaga. Burial with military honors will be in the Onaga Cemetery. Mr.Barkyoumb will lie in state until service time at the funeral home where family and friends will meet from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday. Memorials are suggested to the American Lung
Association or the First Baptist Church, and may be sent in care of the funeral home.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Tessendorf-Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Onaga. Burial will be in Onaga Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
