The daughter of James Hardin and Louisa Ragsdale, who were both born in Kentucky, she was a widow at the time of her death, according to her death certificate which was signed by Joseph Genola of Renick Missouri.

MRS. SARAH GENOLA DIES AT RENICK
One of Renick's oldest citizens, Mrs. Sarah C. Genola, 74, a life-long resident of that vicinity, died at 4:45 o'clock this morning at the residence in Renick. She had been ill eight weeks.
She is survived by two sons, J. E., and John, both of Renick; two daughters, Mrs. Nannie Williams and Mrs. Lucy Meals, Bentonville, Ark.; two brothers, Arthur Hardin, near Centralia; a sister, Mrs. L. R. Davis, Longview, Tex.; several nieces and nephews; and 5 grandchildren.
She was born and reared and spent her entire life in the vicinity in which she died. She was a member of the Renick Christian Church.
The body was returned today to the home from the Mahan Funeral Parlors and services will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Renick Christian Church by Dr. Crayton S. Brooks, pastor of the Central Christian Church. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
