Benjamin Franklin Aldridge, 82, Lawrenceburg Road, resident, died at his home at 8 o'clock last night following a long illness. A native of Henry County, he had farmed all his life. He was a member of the Alton Christian Church.
Mr. Aldridge is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Ellen Harlow Aldrige, two sons, Chester Paul Aldridge of Anderson Co, and Louis Earnest Aldridge of Franklin County; four daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Hedden and Mrs. Pearl Hellard of Anderson Co, Mrs. Stella Cummins of Franklin County and Mrs. Cellie Webb of Spencer County; and a number of grandchildren.
Mr. Aldridges body was removed to Rogers Funceral Home, but will be taken to the residence today.
Internment will follow in Alton Cemetery. Bearers: Gilbert,William and Wilmer Aldridge, Leslie Hellard, John Hellard and W.B. Webb.
