Ada M. Osborn Duran left her earthly bound body and went to be with her Lord on Thursday, March 7, 2013. She was born October 3, 1915, to McCullough Osborn and Myrtle Hendrix Osborn in Watterson, Bastrop County, Texas. She was a 5th generation Texan.

Ada married her sweetheart, Uyless D. Duran, in 1935 and they had 3 daughters, Barbara Hefner of Llano, Sharon Boatright and husband, Bob of Bastrop, Patsy Pearson and husband, William of Victoria. She is survived by five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and two great great-granddaughters. She is also survived by her brother, Marvin Osborn and his wife, Valine, of Gatesville,Texas; a sister, Ann Bryan in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ada was preceded in death by her husband, Uyless, five brothers and one sister, her son in law, Gordon Hefner.

Our mother lived a long and blessed life and will be remembered as a Christian lady who served the lord and loved her family and friends. Ada was a dedicated member of Eastwood Baptist Church in Gatesville, Texas.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at the Bateman Baptist Church, 2691 FM 20, between Bastrop and Lockhart, burial will follow at the Bateman Cemetery. Viewing will be one hour prior to the service.
