Lee Clinton Ferrell, 77, of Shenandoah, died at his home Monday morning.
Mr. Ferrell was born December 21, 1899 in Page County and was a son of the late William F. and Cornelia Ferrell.
He was a retired cook with Norfolk & Western Railway. He was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church, the Brotherhood of Maintenance Ways, and Verbena Lodge 42 of the International Order of Odd Fellows.
On August 21, 1923, he married Mary Ola Sampson, who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Virdus Dean and Mrs. Thelma Offenbacker, both of Elkton, and Mrs. Maxene Smith of Harrisonburg, a step grandson, two grandchildren and a great granddaughter.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday with burial in East Lawn Memorial Gardens.
