NOTE; A recent report I received about Lewis and his wife's burial is that they were laid to rest on their land across the road (Highway 49) from the now Bobo-Murphy House in the Cross Keys-Sedalia community in Union County, South Carolina. Lewis's son Kindred built the house mentioned. Received this info from a Findagrave friend who was told by an elderly man that was a Bobo descendant who grew up in the community and recalls seeing Lewis's grave several times while growing up. He told him the stones were no longer legible but that he was always told by his family it was Lewis's and his wife's graves. Lewis had around 700 acres in that location. If there is anyone out there with additional knowledge about his final resting place, please let us know.
